With over nine years of hands-on experience in animal husbandry, Siddalingeshwara has worked with a wide range of cattle breeds across different habitats and states in India. His knowledge extends beyond cow care to their role in agriculture, making him a strong advocate for self-sustainable farming through the integration of livestock and organic practices.

Fluent in 7 to 8 regional languages, he has effectively connected with communities and farmers across the country, facilitating knowledge sharing and collaborative growth.

Holding a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BE Mech), Siddalingeshwara has enhanced his fieldwork with a technical and systems-driven approach. He has undergone extensive training in modern dairy farming and has served as a manager and consultant across various states, building a reputation for efficient, practical, and sustainable dairy management.

Inspired by the values passed down from his grandparents, he views Goshalas not merely as shelters, but as potential centers of excellence in sustainable agriculture, animal welfare, and cultural heritage.

He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering (BE) and an MBA, and has cultivated a strong entrepreneurial mindset shaped by his humble upbringing in a family rooted in agriculture and traditional business.

Throughout his career, Mr. Shivakumar has worked closely with startups across diverse industries, gaining valuable experience in dynamic, high-growth environments. His professional journey has taken him across countries, offering him a global perspective while remaining deeply connected to his cultural heritage and family values.

Passionate about community service and deeply committed to Goshala (cow welfare), he seeks to align his professional pursuits with purposeful social impact. Mrs. Pankaja E Chandrashekar is the Co-Founder and Trustee of Hatti Gousamthana, where she plays an integral role in the day-to-day functioning and nurturing spirit of the Goshala. Raised in a traditional joint family, she carries forward deep-rooted values of compassion, discipline, and community living.

Born into a family with a rich legacy in cattle rearing, Mrs. Pankaja was raised among over 400 cows under the care of her father. Her brothers have been recognized by the Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF) with several awards as top milk producers of the year—cementing the family’s contribution to the dairy farming community.

A devoted mother of two, Mrs. Pankaja gracefully balances her responsibilities between her family and the Goshala. Her daily activities include caring for the cows, cooking nutritious meals, and looking after other animals, including dogs. Her presence is a quiet yet powerful force that supports the heart and harmony of Hatti Gousamthana.

She truly embodies the spirit of seva (selfless service), making a lasting impact through her dedication to animal welfare, traditional values, and hands-on care.

Mrs. Kalpaja E Chandrashekar is the Co-Founder and Managing Trustee of Hatti Gousamthana, where she combines her academic excellence, global experience, and deep-rooted values to lead with purpose and compassion. She holds a Master’s degree from BITS Pilani (MS) and has been working in the tech industry, including over a decade of professional life in the United States.

Raised in a joint family under the guidance of her grandparents, Mrs. Kalpaja grew up with strong cultural values and a deep sense of responsibility toward community and tradition. These early influences continue to shape her approach to leadership and service.

At Hatti Gousamthana, her role goes far beyond administration. She actively contributes to strategic planning, community outreach, and the creation of a self-sustaining, humane ecosystem for cows. Her leadership ensures a seamless integration of traditional wisdom with modern systems to maximize impact and sustainability.
